Sunday, May 4, 2 pm

Temple Emanuel will honor women cancer survivors at its annual Pink Tea. The event raises funds to support the Beach Health Clinic of Virginia Beach, an organization that provides mammograms for women who do not have any medical insurance.

The discussion at the Pink Tea will explore “Cancer in the Family.” One of the speakers, Dr. Louise Lubin, a local psychologist, has lectured on this subject and worked with area patients. Other presenters will be Shaye Arluk and her mother Leslie Siegel, Thomasina Scarbor and Renee Heyman.

All of the money collected at the event will be donated to the Clinic. The minimum contribution is $7.50. Last year, more than $2,000 was donated. The expenses associated with the tea are covered by Pink Angels.

Reservations may be made by contacting Temple Emanuel at 428-2591 or Renee Heyman at 853-2145.
