Drawing on a range of ladino, klezmer and Middle Eastern music and instruments, The Shuk combines a variety of styles to create an unforgettable cultural experience. The group was formed in 2008 as part of an initiative by The European Institute of Jewish Studies in Sweden to bring an emotional and intellectual connection to Jewish culture. Since then, The Shuk has performed in front of hundreds of thousands around the world.
