Wednesday, Sept. 11, 4:30 -6:30 pm

The Afro-Semitic Experience, a band beyond categorization, will perform their special, “soul-driven” music in a concert presented by Old Dominion University’s Institute for Jewish Studies and Interfaith Understanding. The bad is a celebration of everything musical from funk to spiritual to jazz.

The concert, which is fee and open to the community, will take place on the Village Green (at the corner of Monarch Way and West 43rd Street) at ODU.

The concert is made possible by support of The Helen G. Gifford Fund of the Tidewater Jewish Foundation.
