PORTSMOUTH—Sidney Marcus, 98, died June 23, 2020.
A native of Portsmouth, he was the widower of Vivian Trestman Marcus. He was the owner of Sidney’s Pawn Shop in Portsmouth for over 40 years and a member of Gomley Chesed Synagogue.
He is survived by two loving daughters, Leslie Sigman (Mack), and Ronni Marcus; and four grandchildren, Allie Dolsey, Rikki Ingram (Nathan), Ian Sigman and Drew Sigman.
A graveside service was held in Chevra Thilim Cemetery in Portsmouth with Rabbi Israel Zoberman officiating.
