Based on an installation of 1,000 umbrellas adorning Yoel Moshe Solomon Street in Jerusalem during the summer of 2015, UJFT’s Community Relations Council is launching a similar installation in the Simon Family JCC’s Cardo to delight attendees of Israel Fest, Tidewater’s Jewish community celebration of Yom HaAtzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day.
Join the seniors at the Simon Family JCC to decorate an umbrella to be included in the installation. Coffee and desserts from Custom Cake will be served. RSVP (required) by March 26 at JCC Front Desk.
