Lorraine Fink’s artwork to return to the Simon Family JCC in a retrospective exhibition

Then, Now, & Looking Forward: Lorraine Fink Retrospective, featuring artwork created by Lorraine Fink over the last several decades, will be on display in the Leon Family Gallery at the Reba and Sam Sandler Family Campus of the Tidewater Jewish Community throughout August and September.

The Norfolk artist has had her work on display at the Slover Library, Chrysler Museum, Virginia Museum, Hermitage Museum, Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art, Perrell Art Gallery at Norfolk Academy, and the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries at Old Dominion University.

Fink, 96, has been recognized with numerous honors including the Virginia Watercolor Society’s Purchase Award at the College of William & Mary, The Miniatures Juror’s Choice Award at the Hermitage Museum, a Tidewater Painting Award at Virginia Beach Arts Center, and inclusion in a two-year traveling Smithsonian exhibition from the Virginia Museum.

Her work has previously been displayed in the Leon Family Gallery. The upcoming exhibition begins August 1.
