Washington , D.C.—Dr. Sally Rose Rogers, PhD in Classics, died Monday July 20, 2015.
Sally was born on November 10, 1948 in Smithfield, N.C. She was the first born daughter of John Patterson Rogers, Jr. (of blessed memory) and Martha Pridgen Rogers. She is also survived by her two sisters, Susan Rogers Einhorn (Marty) and Jean Rogers (George Bergantz) and her adored nephews Will and Jay Einhorn.
A memorial service was held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Washington, DC. Contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church or the charity of choice. Condolences may be sent to 1365 Botetourt Gardens, Norfolk, VA 23517.
