Norfolk—Calvin “Colonel” Zedd, 80, passed away on August 26, 2012.
He was born in 1931 to the late Joseph and Mollie Zedd in Virginia.
He was a member of Temple Israel and active with Chabad House; He also was the founder and owner of Zedd Auctioneers Ltd., and was an auctioneer for 50 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife; Peggy Zedd, children; Loree Graley (Stephen) of Virginia Beach, Michael Glisson (Tina) of League County, Texas, and Stephen Zedd (Teri) of Norfolk; siblings, Bennie Zedd (Gertrude), Beatrice (Sidney) Wolff, Bessie Rita Zedd; grandchildren; Alexandra, Maxwell, Allen, Crawford, Gabriel, Ava Malkah.
